According to a high percentage of the mass population, the world will end at year 2012. Please tell me what you think about this claim.

well honestly i dont know.. it may.. it may end tomorrow.. thats something we just can't grasp,understand,or answer when.

i thnk that it does not matter because if you know Christ as your personly as your lord and savior you're covered!!!!
I think this claim is theory. Only God knows when this world's last days will come. And no matter what any scientist says I believe the Word before them.
Ezekiel 7:2-10: "And you, son of man, thus says the Lord God to the land of Israel, 'An end! The end is coming on the four corners of the land.
'Now the end is upon you, and I will send My anger upon you; I will judge you according to your ways and bring all your abominations upon you.
'For My eye will have no pity on you, nor will I spare you, but I will bring your ways upon you, and your abominations will be among you; then you will know that I am the Lord!'
"Thus says the Lord God, 'A disaster, unique disaster, behold it is coming!
'An end is coming; the end has come! It has awakened against you; behold, it has come!
'Your doom has come to you, O inhabitant of the land. The time has come, the day is near- tumult rather than joyful shouting on the mountains.

And this was written over 2,000 years ago. Who's to say we're not already in the end times? Only God knows. We are in a time of tribulation. It may not be 'the' Tribulation, but it is tribulation. I have no doubt about that. Only God knows when our last days will be. I don't care how much science or opinion says. There are hundreds of different interpretations of the last days. Hundreds of different theories. SO until those days actually come, I'm going to continue trusting my sword.
I have a COMPLETELY different "qwestion"...
So I have this friend, who wants to commit suicide. She can't trust anybody, friends, parents, siblings, GOD... Life is getting so horrible, that she may not be around to hear the answer to this question. HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH SUICIDE?!
God's plans are unpredictable the world could end in 2012 or it could end tommorrow we will never know exactly when the world is gonna end and if it does I'M READY

this claim is actually a theory. The Mayans created a calendar that ends on December of 2012. Now the only reason we think they meant our time is because of the death, war, and a certain comet that would pass in a certain direction over the pyrimids, that when it passed over the night sky(if looking north) would point at the mouth of the entrance, which had two snakes on each side of the door or entrance. Over time they thought that the comet kept getting closer to the earth but they were indeed false in their predictions. We now call this comet "Haleys Comet". The only actual reason the mass population knows about it is because of the mass media(like the internet). God will come at his own exact time. Not one being that is walking on this earth right now knows when that time is.
I don't think the world will end in 2012, because it is all up to God.We don't know what he thinks.
I'm gonna add something to my previous comment all of us people are worried about the end of the world but something we have to remember is that we are not the only ones on the earth everyday people are dieing because
too many christians are too afraid to come out of their comfort zones and share the Gospel with others.
If we don't do something about this when the world does end millions of people are going to spend eternity in Hell.What I'm saying is that all Christians are going to have to let go of their pride,judgement,fear of being judged,and more things holding us back.If we manage to let go of that we will beable to save millions of people from eternal suffering.I am ready to come out of my comfort zone and go out and try to save as many people as I possibly can.I'm praying that everyone else can let go too.Remember God's plans are unpredictable that's all the motivation we need to go out and save our brothers and sisters from

Well I have a QWESTION......Lately I've struggling with denying God the punishments that God gives me for denying him are making me have thoughts of Suicide.I just need guidance on what I can do to stay away from suicde and be obedient to God....Wow this hard for me to tell people about this.....I need HELP

Ok the end times...how do we possibly know when the world will end? It says in the bible that the world will last until everyone on it has had the chance to know about God...why do i say this? Because everyday people are dying and being born! So how do we know when the rapture is coming until everyone has heard of God and has had a chance to accept Him?...that is a whole lot of lost people and we as a church and groups can't do it alone!We need all of the help we can get from other believers and make more and more and more!I saw this saying once that "You tell two people, they tell two people, and so on and so on..."We need to do that and let God work all we can do is be tools for Him! they make the choice,He makes the change,all you can do is give them a chance...
